Ye Olde Rose & Crown is one of the oldest pubs in Greenwich, with a history dating back to the 17th century. It’s situated next door to Greenwich Theatre, which was originally called The Rose & Crown Music Hall, such is the close connection between the pub and the theatre. Today the Rose, as the locals refer to it, is a friendly LGBT venue that hosts drag cabaret at weekends plus weekly events like Bingo and annual events including Sports Day and the very popular Greenwich Pride featuring the Charity Drag Race.
