Old Brewery – Postcard

The Old Brewery is situated on the site of what was once the Royal Brewery, a brewing facility with roots going back to the 17th century. The brewery was originally established by the Royal Navy, and it is believed to have been in operation as early as the late 1600s. The site was transformed into a pub and dining venue in the 20th century. The Old Brewery as it is known today was officially established as a pub in 1994, following the closure of the original Royal Brewery. It was bought by Youngs in early 2016 from Meantime and is now one of four Young’s pubs in Greenwich.
